Jennifer’s work as a therapist is grounded in both structure and depth. Before opening JP Psychotherapy, she worked for several years in hospital-based settings, where she learned the value of measurable outcomes, ethical precision, and well-defined treatment goals. Over time, however, she realized that while this structure was essential, meaningful and lasting change required something more flexible and personal — space to adapt, reflect, and respond to the individuals sitting across from her.
In therapy, she aims to be an active and reliable teammate. She works collaboratively, helping clients clarify their goals, identify what’s working, and build new skills to support growth. As the work deepens, she helps clients explore the patterns and emotional experiences that shape their relationships and sense of self. She’s honest and direct, but always compassionate – committed to being fully present in both the progress and the discomfort that growth requires. Clients often describe her approach as thoughtful, active, and engaging in a consistent, supportive way. Her mission is to help people move beyond simply coping, toward a deeper understanding of themselves and a greater sense of authenticity in how they live life and connect with others.
